Beer. Cold Beer. The game will be on at 0500 over here so me and the rest of the UT guys here will be in rare form by then. #allnighter

Gerst Haus is literally walking through the stadium parking lots away from stadium and has tons of beer selections. Great food too. They are known for their fish bowl beer glasses and, again, the beer selection is on point. Again, the food is great. Get there early. Get there very early.

East Nashville (side of the river stadium is on) has really become a happening place with several bars. The 5 points area in East Nashville is conveniently located to stadium and good bar scenes....

Of course, there is the 2nd Ave and Broadway scenes.....but since I'm a local, I don't do the touristy places....

We are staying downtown Friday & Saturday, I was told by my cousins wife to go to Broadway and stay away from Printers Alley, she said it was NASTY... I LOL

Smoked chicken wings, wife's making baked beans, and some moose backstrap(laid it down last year) wrapped in bacon, with cream cheese and jalapeño. Oh, and a whole mess of ol No. 7. Gotta get these Mainers on my TN level. GBO!

3 different types of Hot wings, my famous chili, and beer in front of my 65 inch flat screen......I bought for the Tax Slayer......this will be my first all season games on my Ultra HD.....yay!!!

Every game I try to put something new on the menu, but I like keeping things simple and I know that will taste good.

While the riff raff up here are prepping for the arrival of the Ohio State, I will be watching the vols from a bar called macados. Pretty good burgers, wings, and fries. Oh and beer. Copious amounts of beer.

I will be in Austin at game time. That means I will be having BBQ brisket, coleslaw, and lots of craft beer.

I my opinion, being a life long local, Broadway is extremely touristy. Make yourself comfortable around the locals. Try Pharmacy Burger on McFerrin Avenue or some of the bar scenes in East Nashville or Mid Town area. Just google those areas for hangout spots. Both very convenient to Downtown. Of course, walking from your hotel to Broadway may be most convenient and easier for you. But, very touristy.........maybe you're after that kind of atmosphere though

Burgers, Beer Brats, Chili Lime Chicken Kebabs, Pimento Cheese w/ Hawaiian buns or crackers, deviled eggs, potato salad, guacamole and salsa, hummus with crackers and veggies, and a Chocolate Toffee Trifle. Then I have Shiner on tap and a full bar, I'm counting down the days!!
