Referencing what previous teams did as proof that a current team will not win/lose games is never legitimate... and seems to be the central piece of his argument.I don't care about this guy's opinion, but I'm hard pressed to argue with his reasoning. We have lots of reasons to be hopeful, but we still need to prove it on the field.

UT is significantly more talented than UK or USCe. If they lose to either of those teams... Pruitt's seat will and SHOULD get very, very hot.
Exactly where I am as well. Are we making improvements? Obviously. Can we have a much better record than 5-5? No question. Is it annoying to ask and answer your own questions? Precisely! Hopefully this will be the year we see a huge jump (banking on the OL being the best in years and not relying on the QB position) in our level of play. It just takes a while to build that depth and most who understand the game realize THAT'S where championships are won and lost. Because, as you stated, this silly virus may cause a few to sit at the wrong time and anything can happen.Well we do play 5 of the top 10 and 6 of the top 25. Anything over 5-5 will be a real good season. It's all going to come down to QB play and how many starters and back-ups we lose to Covid.
