Can't pull players forward. We actually got a penalty for it this year. But your point is well taken.
You actually can just not if you play for Tennessee. Saw an OL pull a RB into the end zone in the playoffs and the announcers were like "wow what a great play." Slightly annoying.

I don’t mind it when o-linemen push a runner for a few extra yards at the end of a play, but the tush push ought to be outlawed yesterday.

It was a missed call just like a missed flask mask or holding. It is still against the rules.

Nope. They are great. Throwback to old school football. Man up and put muscle against muscle...or throw a pop pass for a TD.

It's not about a look. It's about being effective.

PUSH...............PULL Doesnt matter..............it sux and should be ruled out.

Disagree. Both should not only be legal, but should be encouraged. It's a physical sport, and nothing is more physical than an 11 on 11 battle for a yard it two. The scrubs are great!!!

The tush push needs to be banned for competitive purposes. Same as banning the shift in MLB.

It’s literally impossible to stop at the pro level. If you need 1 or 2 yards, you’re gonna get it. Forgone conclusion.

except its not literally impossible to stop. its like any innovation. one side makes a change, the other has to adjust. The up tempo, no huddle offense, was considered unstoppable not too long ago.

It’s fine to disagree but your comparison is illogical.

For that comparison to be relevant, you’d have to imply the success rate of up-tempo offenses was 90%+ and that’s not even remotely true.

Chip Kelly's offense was pretty unstoppable at Oregon.

Saban complained a lot about it, but eventually had to adopt or die, and if you are stressing out the best coach in the history of the game who has a defensive background with an offensive scheme its probably pretty dang good.

The Tush Push may be better than dropping your qb into shotgun and handing off, or trying to backwards than Texas, but its not an unfair advantage. if anything its football boiled down to its simplest, purist form. however many guys, getting physical and pushing each other. for how much complaining is done about the modern game, it seems laughable to me to complain about the Tush Push.
