I took Fortran way back when we had to do punch cards and turn them in to be run…you know, back in the last millennium. 😂
I took Fortran 1976 at UT .. stood in line for card punch , then in line for the card reader then waited for my printout on greenbar paper .. find errors and get back in line for the card punch etc etc etc lol ...

I have a 92-year-old mother, raised on a farm, and the only traveling she did was later in life (usually when I would drive or fly her somewhere). She can text, email, Facebook, YouTube with the best 18 year old kid. So anytime I hear someone say they just can't do computers...she's living proof just how simple it really is. Now....where we are as a society because of it is another discussion!

I'm too old and in too bad a health to waste what little $$$ I have to buy a new PC.

I'm also a high tech/computer moron so to learn anything new I have to get a detailed, step by step instructions to try to do anything.

The last time I tried something by myself I screwed something up and I couldn't get online again.

It took my wife, texting back and forth with her friend trying things, 2 days just to figure out how to get me back online again, LOL!

She told me if I ever did something like that again I would just have to stay offline forever.

I almost died during just that 2 days.

If I could never get back on here again they may as well just bury me and get it over with.

VFL...GBO!!!
My wife just bought a new computer. if you are located anywhere near Chattanooga I will give you a laptop that has sound.

Dr Slagle. Cost Acc. We got him to play Big Bros and the Holding Co. Janis Joplin at her peak. I think he was dumbfounded.

I have a feeling we are going to here the name “squirrel “ often , and for a long time . I’d be ok if our receivers nickname was the flying squirrels . Lol

Sort of like having a Pig for a receiver?

I don’t know if CJH will ultimately be successful in returning us to a competitive program with the top of the SEC, but every time I hear one of his pressers he strikes me as genuine and intelligent. In that regard if I were a player he’s the exact type of coach I’d want. Never felt good about any of the other guys since Fulmer. Maybe the curse is lifting

I am amazed at how he has been able to get this program, coaches, and players under control so quickly. There are no big emergencies and everything just gets handled with no fanfare. I really thought he would be in over his head immediately. That was dead wrong.

I took Fortran way back when we had to do punch cards and turn them in to be run…you know, back in the last millennium. 😂

I remember doing those on the IBM 026 and 029 keypunch machines. I've still got a bunch of my card decks for programs, and my collection of different cards that a lot of us did back then.

Man…that is awesome! My dad died 30 years ago and was a decorated WWII vet as well. Pump your father every single day with questions and document his time in WW2. I’d give anything to talk with dad again and really LISTEN this time! What a blessing you’ve been given!!!
