It looks like Maggit completely tore it up. It had sounded like Lane might be the impact freshman, but Maggit may take that crown.

It looks like Bray is still sorting through everything the staff has thrown at him. I thought they simplified it some for this scrimmage...hopefully he keeps pushing forward.

It's going to be hard to judge our offense this Fall before we take the field. A buddy of mine told me that the defense lined up in a lot of formations and was bringing pressure from different spots all afternoon. Secondary once again looked really good. It's going to be a fun season I believe.

Austin Ward - Of note for that offense, neither Poole nor Neal played -- and Marlin Lane and especially Tom Smith took advantage of carries.

Patrick Brown - Tauren Poole (ankle) and Rajion Neal (tweaked knee) didn't participate in tonight's scrimmage. more work for Marlin Lane and Tom Smith.
