Stating that this is "a perfectly good thread" is the biggest travesty in this thread full of travesties....or is it transvestites?

I usually don't agree with VolDad but he's right in this case. That journalist is about as credible as Sara Palin and the other poster is just latching onto it because he finally found a "black guy" who agrees with his ignorant POV(not porn).

It's lunacy that you would talk about fighting dogs like it's normal.

what comments is this poster referring to? oregon message boards? yeah, i'm pretty pissed that i haven't found a "let's praise the vols" or "i love ut and hope they beat us" thread on the duck message boards.

I just got my Ouija board out and had a chat with Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms.

They said you are a pretty selective in your facts. They also thought it was interesting how that journalist left out the last forty + years of intervening American history.

Pinning any great success or failure (slavery and Jim Crow are most certainly the latter) on any one party is one of the most effective fallacies in politics. Persuasive in the moment, but altogether disingenuous. A UT education should help you steer clear of such logical landmines and be a more effective citizen; it does me!

Clever, but arrogant and dumb. Anyone who says that Oregon is not a team to be respected is wrong. There are teams who are very capable of beating us in the Pac-10. If I recall, UCLA did it twice, and they're nowhere near Oregon's talent level. It's going to be a rough game, and anyone who thinks we walk away with this one easy is off their rocker.

What are you talking about? Tennessee is a top 3 program. Who dare use UT as a stepping stone to take a PAC 10 job? Oh wait.
