Though, I guess in fairness, we consistently got f@#$ed by the same garbage "forward progress" call. "Forward progress" for Matt Corral after 1 millisecond of barely being touched by a defender. "Forward progress" after about 1 second for a running back who was still moving forward.

"Forward progress" should NEVER be called that quickly unless a player is driven backwards several yards and clearly can no longer advance. That's why the rule exists; so a player doesn't get injured as the defenders have obviously pushed the offensive player backwards. Neither of those plays even remotely qualifies. Corral was barely touched at all. And Small wasn't driven back enough (or for any considerable time period) to justify it.
I agree and the TE that caught the TD, I would think his forward progress had stopped too!! It was the same ref on both plays but two different calls.

Oops... I didn't notice @ButchPlz posted same statement. My Bad:oops:

So speaks the word of Eru Ilúvatar to these false judges:

If you were blind, you would have no sin; but you maintain, 'We see,' so your sin remains. - John 9:41

Is he of the Henderson County Ilúvatars? I think that guy still owes me money from the 80s.

I would like to start this thread dedicated to gathering all of the talking heads on social media going bananas over how bad that Forward Progress TD call was.
Think we got screwed badly? Cincinnati actually got put in the CFP and matched against Alabama. :) No overtime drama there or chance for a TD to be negated. They got exposed. At least we can complain about our our screw job. They asked for it.
