ok, now on to real posts....good to finally join the discusssion......what realling gets me is the BB is the only one out of this group of athletes being "targeted" by the NCAA....if they have "proven" his guilt, then they darn well better look into the other players....if they are the captains of fair they better play that way with everyone....and yet USC still goes unpunished....at any rate, let the kid play if not for my own selfish want to see him on the gridiron

I was on academic scholarship to a private middle school in Knox. We asked about HS sports and I was told they limit the number of scholarship players per sport. I decided to transfer to a public school where I would be allowed to play and don't regret it. This was a long time ago but I doubt the rules have changed

It was technically a need based one but they called it academic. I had to score at a certain level on the entry test to qualify though (probably because my jump shot sucked)
