Houston Nutt at 3 and Rich Brooks at 5. This guy's water supply should be checked for Mercury.

it's funny how when people evaluate Kiffin so early, they only base it off what he has said, not what he has done so far in the recruiting landscape and how he has built his staff.

What a joke.

I think that's why this ranking has him last. It's almost impossible to rank him at this point.

Nutt's done a great job at Ole Miss thus far. Rich Brooks has done more with less than any coach in the conference. I'm not sure any other coach in the conference could do a better job than he has at Kentucky.

Nutt is not the third best coach. He and Rich Brooks combined aren't equal to Spurrier, who's ranked behind both of them.

I would think he should at worst be tied with Chizik and Mullen.
No data on the field and questionable data off the field. He's sure to be ranked higher next season. He'll have the Vols back up before long. I just worry that the NFL will be calling after he has success in Knoxville. College coaching gigs are twice the job as the NFL, IMO.

He did better in the NFL than Chizik did in one of the worst divisions in BCS football.

wow what dumb piece of crap thought rich brooks is number five among sec coaches, ahead of the likes of les miles, bobby petrino, and three head coaches who were coordinators for championship teams on five different occasions

Why do we care what Scout thnks?

Why do we care what anyone other than a Vol fan thinks? We waste so much space on all these haters and non believers. Who cares.

Lets talk about this coming season and how good this staff can be.

Wow that is a joke, and I am not even talking about Kiffin, I could care less if he is 12th on the list right now. In two years, yes it will matter. But how is Spurrier below Rich Brooks and Houston Nutt? That blows my mind. I would even put Spurrier above Richt. Heck, I would take Les Miles over Brooks.

Dan Mullen has no data on the field.
Gene Chizik, on the field, is 5-19 at Iowa State.
Lane Kiffin is 5-15 in the NFL. He hired a superior staff and recruited a superior class compared to either of the other two. And he's a worse coach because he made Urban Meyer mad? Please.
