I have not had time to peruse it for UTK prospects but wanted to make sure everyone knew it was out. Seeing as how this casts a fairly wide net (300 kids) this is a pretty good representation of the cream of the crop.

Scout.com: Scout 300 version 1.0

edit: My initial impression is that UTK is going to have to work the out-of-state kids HARD! There are only 4 Tennesseans in the top 300: 2 from Memphis which has not been a real friendly area for UTK recruiting; one from BA (Bama/Auburn likely); and one from Hillsboro which has pretty good academics and turns out a lot of well rounded kids who go to some very prestigious schools due largely in part to the unique mix they get from busing inner city kids into a very affluent area. Basially, I see no in-state locks for the Vols on the list.

Now to look at OOS prospects.

second purely statistical observation is that 30 uncommitted kids (10% of the list) have UTK listed as a school of interest. A caveat is that in the past, I have observed that Scout is a bit slack on listing schools of interest and they will often only show an abbreviated list for kids who have lots of offers in an attmept to discern (rightly or wrongly) the prospect's leaders.

By contrast I see the following schools have the corresponding number of players listing them as a program of interest (note: this includes commitments to these schools who are in the Top 300):

UF - 61
Bama - 48
UGA - 37
SC - 18
KY - 7
Vandy - 7

listed purely due to recent head-to-head recruiting battles:

UNC - 28
Clemson - 33
Auburn - 30
