Everyone makes a big deal out of Saban’s “rehabilitation program,” but it’s smart. You hire guys who were talented enough as assistants or mid major head coaches to land major coaching jobs, but couldn’t succeed as the head man at that level. That adds a lot to your staff. And it brings fresh ideas and perspectives. There’s a reason it’s worked for Saban.
Frost has a good offensive mind. He showed that at UCF. His offense was a bad fit at Nebraska. But he would add a lot to UT’s staff as an assistant.
Danny White hired him at UCF. He won big at UCF with White as AD. There’s a connection. I’d like to see it.
