Not freaking out yet, but, IF Currie hires Schiano - he should resign...eff immediately. he should have kept Butch if this the case.

Actually, id prefer no coach to Schiano.

I will never support a program that would pay millions to a coach that knew of another grown man raping vulnerable kids and did nothing to stop it. There are things, many things, more important than football. Currie, if this is your choice then you can kiss 99% of this fanbase, and your own job, goodbye. Praying it’s not true

I would be rejoicing if after this building rumor about this piece of crap is true......I would welcome back Kiffin in a heartbeat over him.

I’m ok with this hire because with Currie as the AD I had already prepared in advance for disappointment. I knew he couldn’t land a big name.

Can't tell Schiano from shinola.

Might as well hire O. J. Simpson. He's just been released from his last position, and he was found not guilty. Dud knows football...

Makes about as much sense.

I knew when someone said 'Mike Hamilton disciple' we were snakebitten.

I despise Trump but on Currie, 'get 'em outta heeere!'

Saw something a few minutes ago that we're finalizing the deal with him. Currie should resign now and get it over with..

Tennessee has already wasted millions on an overrated B1G DC. Don't need another one. Especially one who puts his job security over the welfare of a child.

If Schiano is hired I will support the Vols fanbase in running Currie out of town on a hot barbed rail!

I'm told there is extensive talks between #Tennessee & Greg Schiano about making him the Vols new HC, per source. Some details about potential transition are also being discussed (re: Urban Meyer wants Schiano part of the BigTen Title Game)

Currie was right. This hire will be Big (Big 10), expensive ($$$), and explosive (fan base will explode when he is announced and not in a good way).

I am curious how the boosters feel about this hire!

I am just concerned winning 8 games a year in the Big East will not translate to the SEC. There are several guys winning 8 games a year at P5 schools that would be better fit like Dave Doeren or Pat Fitzgerald.

And you HAD to start ANOTHER thread on this guy? Merge police!

Let Schiano make his denials somewhere else, not here. I do not believe him and do not want him involved on our university. I have criticized peep for raising too much sand over our football program. Well, this is different. I say fire anybody and everybody who makes a hire like that!
