"Schiano denied any knowledge of abuse in an official statement on Tuesday: 'I never saw abuse, nor had reason to suspect any abuse, during my time at Penn State,' he said in a statement released by ESPN's Adam Schefter on Twitter."

Now, can we stop the negative rumors? I am not sold on him, but the anti-rumors are largely unfounded.

1707 alternate account. May want to share this info in the schinao thread. Of course he will deny it, dont want him found guilty and jailed unless it can be proven. Dont want him as tennesee coach regardless.

So me one positive story about this giy, just one?

It was not his statement that concerned people. Do you think the guy is going to openly admit it to the media?! It was the fact that he was linked to it through in court testimony during the trial. I don't know about you, but I do not want anybody at Tennessee linked to what happened to those poor, innocent children.

Move to a communist country then if America's innocent until proven guilty is not to your liking then.

I'm sorry, as a pediatric nurse who works with special needs kids who can't talk. I just think there's something more important than football. From the stories there's no way he wouldn't have no known what was going on.

And having to help few innocent kids in the ER before when they had been sexually abusued, has probably jilted me moreso. So my opinion is more from a jilted aspect.

Innocent until proven guilty, so don’t put the guy in jail. Agreed.

However when your job opening requires influence over young men, and the requirement to be able to convince parents that you’re the best man for their son, you stay away from all potential warning flags wherever possible.

So, guilty of not guilty, this kind of stuff hanging over his head hurts him, and that’s not our fault or his, but we should stay away regardless.

What stories please tell us what the story actually is.....

Only thing report said was a guy saw Schiano turn white

And that statement was made under duress from a memory over over 20+ years before

It is possible that the guy is remembering the wrong coach..... just saying that's just as possible and Schiano is telling the truth that it wasn't him

WTF did you expect him to say: "Yeah, I saw Sandusky raping little boys in the shower and told JoePa, but didn't really think it was a big deal." He had to have known something was going on even if he didn't actually witness anything. We do not need this guy.
