Because of the world's largest family reunion in Lexington, the Breeder's Cup, all of the hotels are booked.

Therefore the team is staying in Cincinnati on Friday night. An hour and half away from Lexington. They are practicing where the Bengels play on Friday. Marvin Lewis to address the team. Saturday they will make the 2 hour bus ride from down to Lexington.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY ARE FLYING INTO CINCINNATI OR BUSSING ALL THE WAY TO CINCINNATI AND BACK?

I hate that this is happening actually. That's a lot of chaotic running around and way off of their normal road schedule.

It's not optimal but if their focus is that easily interrupted there are problems on the team that I haven't seen any sign of to this point. They will be fine as long as they get to the field early enough.

It really won't matter once the game get's going. The coaches and players will all forget about their odd travel arrangements. A hotel stay in Cincinnati will not make Reeves-Maybin miss a tackle or Dobbs throw a pick-6.

From what I've heard that isn't to far out of the normal. Like when they play GA they stay in ATL. And bus to Athens. And that sorta thing. I don't think it's that big of a deal. But going into this week I had no idea about all that.

I don't know man. The 24 hours leading up to a game is crucial with routine and preparation.

Just yet another obstacle for this team.

Exactly. Like it was just thrown together.....

Being a 7pm kickoff, I don't see it being a big deal. I remember in 2005 we flew down to Baton Rouge to play LSU on the day of the game due to Hurricane Katrina. These are young guys, their bodies can handle the logistics.

Are they flying to Cinci and then bussing down. Or treking by bus all the way to Cinci and back. If they are bussing the whole time, that's outrageous.....

Sounds very logical to me. If you have ever traveled that interstate it's 3 lane and should take around 1.5 hrs max by bus. Stay in better accommodations in Cincy, practice in a pro stadium, get addressed by their coach and stay out of all the craziness in Lexington right now. You are blowing this way out of proportion.

More than likely they will be flying out of Lexington after the game Saturday.

Last week they flew into Birmingham on Friday and then flew out of Tuscaloosa on Saturday after the game.

But this is VN. Why try to be positive when you can complain about something?

Way to go. You just stabbed a drama queen in the heart.

Hope Allison desn't feed them Halloween candy on that bus on the way up. Could increase their blood sugar and throw them off. Oh my God, the sky may fall!!!

OP...what are you? A disgruntled former Travel Agent...out of work because of "the internets"??!!

Sounds like a difficult situation was managed...and having Marvin Lewis address the Team is a PLUS, in my book...

Stupid thread is STUPID!

Remember we are playing Kentucky, don't be scared. Sounds like a cool road trip. That's a great NFL experience, while in college.

Go Vols!
