Too bad he doesn't do it where it counts in 7v7 or he'd have a higher ranking.

7v7 is good to keep the skills sharp but kids mindsets change when those pads come on. You really find out who isn’t afraid to put their body out there to make plays and who has that extra drive. Never understood the ratings from them.

It’s a whole different ball game when you know you are going to get hit, but know you need to catch the ball anyways.

Edit: My High School Coach used to tell us, look you are going to get hit anyways.... might as well catch the ball otherwise you got hit for no reason.
 
These guys know two things:

1. They aren’t going to an instant national championship contender
2. But they could be on one by the end of their career

They know what the intern did to this program
Hope they see that they are much needed and will get playing time very early.
