SC vs. Kentucky

I'm not so sure Johnson sliding like that was the right call. I'd rather go up 14 with 3 minutes than 10 with 2 minutes left.

We now go live to the SEC East:

That aside, congrats on the win UK fans. Good win.

And the next 2 times?

Well I was mainly talking about the first time we beat Spurrier. After the first one we've actually competed pretty well with USCjr so it doesn't feel big. This season was nice though with all the hype for USCjr.

I don't get why UK fans are calling SC "jr." I mean, I get that it's an insult/flippant jab at the fans in Columbia but considering the Cats haven't ever done **** in football? Granted, SC hasn't done much more but overall series and one paltry SEC championship appearance trumps four straight victories over crappy SC teams.

UT fans can say it. They've earned it. UK hasn't.

For the record, my wife is a Wildcat.

It's not an insult on my part. I picked it up here probably five or six years ago. I always did it because it's easier to type and avoids confusion with the real USC. Obviously some people say it to throw some shade. But I just type it because it's habit after all these years.

Also, since when did football become the only sport? I think we've dominated pretty much everyone in basketball. Definitely dominated USCjr in basketball more than UT has in football.

It's a joke, really an across the SEC one. South Carolina and their fans really want their programs to be known/recognized as "USC."

But when you ask most people across the country who USC is, they're almost all going to point to the school in Los Angeles. Because of this, USCe (meaning "USC east") and USCjr (making fun of their being the less recognized USC or "little brother" USC) came about, but it's been an across the board kind of thing in the conference...not just something the teams that regularly beat them said (or was earned by a program or anything).

Exactly. That and some humor is pretty much why it came about.
