I know this has been mentioned in a few different iterations recently. Talking about the clearinghouse for these NIL deals. I am not saying that punishment will 100% be happening to these schools. But obviously that is the route being pursued. There are clear rules about these NIL deals. And how this should be viewed for us.... when there is talk about UT not breaking rules THIS is primarily what is meant. It's not that we don't back channel with agents thru our collective. It's that we are not offering NIL deals that won't pass the litmus test and we are not going to have unreported NIL deals that clearly violate the system that was established for NIL.![]()
CSC opens investigation into LSU for possible unreported NIL deals, per report
The CSC will look into whether LSU failed to properly report NIL dealswww.cbssports.com
Couldn’t possibly be relatedno way he sticks
The inquiry was reportedly around the baseball program. It’s been resolved and no punishment will be given.![]()

I think Chandler is the only one from that list that will be a Vol.Kenneth Simon (I’ve seen LB and Safety)
Jerrell Chandler
Kamauri Whitfield
Bryce Woods
Jaden Butler
My guess on secondary commits.

Miles Brown is a kid that nobody is talking about. He’s just been good to great every year in HS, and has some of the best feet and instincts on the football field.
A long way to go Trippie. Then there’s the annual Big 12 transfer we bring in at CB as well.
You don't think Simon will be a Vol? That's a hot take.I think Chandler is the only one from that list that will be a Vol.

Bam is a nickel and the three in-state guys are safeties. Would hope they get some corners. Looks like Woods is oneKenneth Simon (I’ve seen LB and Safety)

I’m not big on this kid. Has plenty of athletic ability. Good return man.We have history recruiting guys there but it hasn’t worked out.
Marquill Osborne CB
Tyran Evans WR
Tyus Fields DB
I still think the move is positive for us.
No. 2 CB in the class.I’m not big on this kid. Has plenty of athletic ability. Good return man.
He just doesn’t great turnovers tho…
He’s like Ricky Gibson.
I could care less about what he's ranked.No. 2 CB in the class.
TOs are overrated sometimes when guys don’t get thrown at.
If he’s like Rickey, bring him on. Not as important as DGG, but if we don’t land Dobson we need to hit on a Cpl other top guys like Evans or Woods, maybe a flip. Hunter is proving his mettle as a recruiter, and I’ve heard he’s really energetic about it.
I point that out every time we recruit a player from there. They actually won the State last year. I would think there would be some trickle down effect in how those players perform in college. We have history recruiting guys there but it hasn’t worked out.

It's hard to project if they would have won in 2024 as well because they played Grimsley the closest of anyone in the quarterfinal round. Lost by 7. Next two games Grimsley won 35-23. To show how little Faizon had to do on that team as a junior, he went 6-9 (nice) passing in their closest gameI point that out every time we recruit a player from there. Hough is always pumping out talent but none of them ever do anything. Not just for Tennessee, but for anybody. The Samari Matthews kid that went to Texas. We'll never hear from him again.
I like Hough's QB though. I think he would make a great safety one day
