I have yet to watch a game on CBS this year, but are Verne and Danielson still the duo? Verne seems like a nice old man but should stick to the 16th at Augusta. Maybe life after Tebow will make them more tolerable.

That is what I hated about watching games when he announced. He was so far up Tebow's butt, he didn't know what was going on during the game.

Most will disagree, but I like Verne and Gary. Not so much on a Tebow slurpfest, but when they call the game, they're pretty good. At least better than whatever ESPN throws out there, with the exception of Ron Franklin and Brent Musburger.

They would do a pretty good job when Florida and Tebow weren't playing. Verne would still find someway to throw a Tebow refernce out in everygame though.

Danielson is the best out there in my opinion. He knows the game and never gets off on non-football tangents. Just stays right on top of each play and sees what each team is trying to do.
Lundquist I could do without.
Still miss the good ole days of Mike Gottfried and Ron Franklin.

Verne can't keep up with the action IMO. He is constantly rambling of stuff that either makes no sense or would have been relevant 10 seconds earlier.

Still have Verne and Gary. Gary's not bad but Verne gets on my nerves..."Oh My!" Wonder how many times we'll hear that tomorrow!

I enjoyed Todd Blackledge alot while he was on CBS. He is alot better than Danielson, imo. At least Blackledge still calls games on ESPN.

I like Verne and Gary. Gary is smart and Verne sounds like he'd be fun to have a beer with.

the reason you havent watched one this year is because this is the first game CBS will be broadcasting

Franklin and Gottfried were the best!

After taking a break from color commentating my life...Bert Bertelkamp will enter the booth and call the game.
