McNamara earned the starting job in the 2021, started every game for the Wolverines. He led Michigan to a win over Ohio State, a Big Ten Championship, and a College Football Playoff birth. But after starting the first game in 2022, JJ McCarthy end up starting the rest of the way.

McNamara entered the transfer portal following the '22 season and transferred to Iowa. But the injury bug bit McNamara. Both the 2023 and 2024 seasons with the Hawkeyes were filled with injuries. He played five games in '23 and eight games in '24.

I saw Coach Heupel and Halzle at Calhoun's on the river having dinner with a QB. Best I could tell from the back of his head it was Steamin' Willie Beamen. 👀

It just feels like if we don't hear something by this weekend, that we are likely gonna get a depth piece at QB. Which seemed likely any way. I just dont see anyone that we'd really want that is an impact player transferring in the spring. I can't stand Urban Meyer, but he may be right on this. Not saying we should have kept Nico, just that this was bad timing and there's gonna be no winner in all of this, at least next season.

Way too early to NOSTRODUMBASS this upcoming season, especially the net production from the QB position. Nico had a lot of arm tools and foot tools but you have to mesh those with heart and head and I never saw that happen. Hate it, celebrated his arrival, hoped for greatness, but only a few glimpses ever materialized. One of our two guys or an addition with less physical gifts but more gamesmanship and true leadership CAN be more productive than last year.

Would really like to know with the quick off switch for Nico by CJH if he saw a chance to save some millions and break even, maybe even get better on the field was too much to pass on. ROI calculation has its place in today’s NIL. world. But you need to be able to play the victim card. We got to. Certainly upping the investment could not be considered.

Way over the old FL. coaches head.

If you google him you can find a handful of couldnt be more obviously fake articles/videos that he is, not a single reliable source, and if that is really still confusing you, you can just go to the portal and look yourself. I cant believe this many people figured out how to post in here and don't know how to vet sources in the slightest

Probably. He'll be at UCLA for 2 seasons. He isn't going pro next spring. He went to classes at UT, so why wouldn't he go.to.classes at UCLA? Doesn't he have a pretty good GPA considering the team maintains over a 3.0 GPA?

I'm pretty sure your statement was to Google him. When you google him, every story is about the portal so who tf knows what's real or fake in the current landscape. We know you can go look at the portal. A kid can put his name in the portal but he won't show up in the portal until his paperwork is officially turned in. So simply checking the portal isn't always accurate. Obviously these kids are talking to teams without being in the portal so the only way to know for sure is to wait until the portal closes.
