Its just a dress jersey from Adidas. its not on-field or anything. Our sales rep was trying to get my boss to buy some.

teams where it is okay to have black jerseys in the SEC:

Georgia
Vanderbilt

is it because they just so happen to look good in black or is it because it is their school color? :crazy:

I don't get the black jersey craze. It will never happen at UT. NEVER. Why do people keep bringing it up? If you want to root for UGA then go root for UGA.

I seen it Saturday, it looked pretty good...but not as good as the scenery around the avenue or that brunette that works at hatworld. :drool:

Nevermind black, how about purple jerseys with green pants. They can wear black shoes with it if it suits you.:good!:

Unfortunately for the old farts, kids don't see black with the same contempt as they do.

Volbynature, don't sweat it too much. A lot of people didn't want to replace the orange seats in TBA with black. We all know the place looks a 1000 times better, now. If it happens that the football team or basketball team wear a black uni, the world will not stop and Tennessee tradition will continue on. Some won't enjoy it but others, like me and you, will love it!

If we sport black jerseys we will have to have black helmets as well. I think it would be nice to do every once in a while.
