It's all dig. The whole premise was 'Tony Jones said this (in reality, he was repeating what he heard on ESPN), Tony Jones was wrong'. If you'd posted it, I wouldn't care, but hat hates on Pearl all day on here, and now he's going after Tony. Stick up for your coaches, VOL.:crazy:

I'm just a loyal Vol fan who went to school there and remembers what UT BBall was like before CBP and Tony Jones. I'm happy with NCAA apps and sweet 16's. Also, I don't cheer for any other NCAA Bball teams besides the Vols, and I never have, except in the 'go SEC' sort of way.
Who else do you cheer for, Hat?

This thread is ridiculous. How bout we all just admit it. I understand that it was started to "inform" us all of the mis-spoken Tony Jones but who cares? Who really wants to be the quote police on making sure every single thing that every coach says is 100% accurate? That sounds fun.....

We'll either play in the pre-season (we're talking about pre-season man, pre-season - add in Iverson's voice here) or not. UNC looks like they'll be else where. Ok.........

Honestly, if it had been anyone else saying it, I would have taken it differently. When Hat mentions a UT BBall coach, I assume that he's being critical. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt it. Smug Hat definitely isn't going to say honestly, I bet, especially now that all of you have shown how you've never read his other posts. It's like if a Bammer posts an article about Kiffin.

It seems like every UT bball thread nowadays turns into a Pearl bashing thread or a "stop bashing Pearl thread" whether or not the thread was started innocently...

Why is it always the guys who least understands what is really going on who always wants to call other people slow? Reread the OP. Anyone can see the thinly veiled criticism of TJ, especially anyone at all familiar with Hatvol and UT basketball. I am no longer the only person here seeing this.

I find it more than amusing that I have been personally insulted by multiple people on this site, several of whom are working as part of the jury on personal insults.

Name calling was not a part of my thread that was nuked last night, at least not from me. I did not need to resort to it to make my point.

It will be interesting to see what this forum looks like minus ad hominem. I really did not understand why this post raised anyone's ire...it seemed pretty straight forward.

I hope Tony Jones was right and TN is looking to get even more tough OOC for our basketball team. I think our national profile keeps going up, and if we slaughter Purdue on Monday we will be in the discussion of very best teams where I want us.

hatvol has not been negative lately but as long as Pearl is winning and recruiting like he is who could be? The way I look at it, is does it matter what one guy thinks about our coach? I just enjoy reading hatvols comments but if i disagree I dont get upset, I just move on to the next post lol.

Only when Hat shows up. This is only the second thread where I've defended the staff from him. I wonder what the # is for attack threads by him?
In the past my main BBall comment was that Wayne is the main. Chism in yo face!! Most underrated player ever.
Seeing how worthless arguing with people who pretend not to understand what is really going on is turning out to be, I think I'll go back to my Wayne stance. Hate on, Hatters.
