Saturday's Scrimmage Updates

Williams was probably the most dominating player on the field today from what I saw. 3 sacks, several more pressures, solid in the run game.

I couldn't get over how big he was though. Dude is just stacked.

Several times when I saw him make a big play, Douglas was in the game at tackle -- and while Aaron is progressing nicely, especially with run blocking, I'm not sure his pass blocking is very effective right now.

That's a good story about Gerald Williams. Is there any word on how Janzen did today?

Did alright, nothing spectacular and nothing terrible. I think he got burned by Rogers on the very first play, but the QB didn't even see him 5 yards behind everyone.

I love the way they challenge each other every practice. When the offense wins, the defense responds and vice versa

How much bigger is he? Do you have a pic of him from Saturday?

Rumor has that, Coach Kiffin coaxed a phenominal highschool 7* athlete from Middle Tennesse to walk on. I hear that the guy graduated early and can play quarterback, tailback or punter equally well. Everyone I have talked to says the kid is a sure fire All American Candidate and possibly the Heisman. He grew up with a football in his hand. His father coaches at some little college up on top of Mont Eagle Mountain. The rumor wasn't clear about the player's name but I heard later that the name was Johnny Majors.

We need this kid.
