2005 Florida 16 Tennessee 7
2006 Tennessee 20 Florida 21
2007 Florida 59 Tennessee 20
2008 Tennessee 6 Florida 30
2009 Florida 23 Tennessee 13
2010 Tennessee 17 Florida 31

We have fallen short to our new era rivals for the last 6 years. We've been pushed around and humiliated. But 2011 is different. Our Vols our 2-0, Bray will be coming off of a career performance, and our receivers are elite and focused. Saturday we have a chance to finally put the University of Tennessee back in the national spotlight. So my question to you is, how does Coach Dooley explain to our young players who may not understand how significant this game is for the program? And how does he get them motivated to go into The Swamp and put #18 Florida down?

It's a record breaking year. He's already changed the dynamic at Tennessee. He'll have them ready. It's up to the coaches to put the right game plan together, and up to the players to execute it. A final week of practice to dot the i's and cross the T's. Then we'll know.

It's not just the last 6 years. Since 1990, when it became a yearly matchup, Tennessee has lost 15 of 21 meetings

he needs to place a chasity belt on the OL and take the key. Tell them boys they ain't getting the keys back until they beat the gators.

Hopefully that will piss them off and they finally play mad.

2011 is a new year and momentum is on Tennessee's side. Bray, Hunter, and Rogers have been outstanding offensively and are really gelling together. This is the first year ive really been excited about Tennessee football in a long time. Why do you think Dooley has been more optimistic than usual? I know its still early, but he knows how good this team is. We're ahead of where we should be, and we're in position to compete for the East this year. Cant wait for Saturday. Go Vols!

Tennessee - 42

Florida - 28

If they don't have the X's and O's down by now, we don't even need to bother going down there.

But they do. And it's five days away!! GO VOLS!!!!

2011 Tennessee 34 Florida 20

If we don't fumble the ball, we win 30 to 27. If we fumble the ball; especially in the 4th quarter, we lose
34 to 21.
We can play them close but we can't give them the game.
Colquitt passed the ball; rather than punt it and we lost. We let Brandon James score on an 80 yard return and we lost. You see the picture? We can play them close but we have to avoid GIVING them the game.

Tennessee by 6. 26-20. Bray hasn't heard an away crowd like the swamp, but I think he will be ok since he has heard a 100K+ crowd at Neyland. Like I said, Vols by 6.

No way we put 40+ on Florida at The Swamp in Bray's biggest away game test thus far.

I'm optimistic for the team, and this year as a whole, but I just don't see us scoring that many points at The Swamp.

I don't think Bray will handle his first game outside of Tennessee very well. I think it will be a learning experience for him and this young team. I hope I'm wrong, but this is just my opinion.

I wouldn't count LP field as an in state advantage for him. If the swamp was in TN it's be that same difference.
