Saturday Scrimmage (8/22)

Is it just me or does it sound like....

Crompton > Stephens

Brown and Oku > Hardesty

Hancock > Warren

Nukeese on the carry for 7.

Crompton to Jones incomplete. Jones could have had it.

Don't get me wrong they are completing passes, but rarely are they reading their WRs. They are starring down one guy 90% of the time.

From Crompton's completion percentage, maybe his first or second guy is open? You can look at two guys without moving your head too much.

Wow, something must have finally jarred loose in JC. Sounds like he is a different player.
that's what I was thinking... even if he's just serviceable, it will be great..

Brown up the middle, bounces outside and runs over the defender.

I believe that was so they could work Poole, Oku and Brown out with the 1st team because Hardesty has pretty much secured his starting spot

That's what the previous coaching staff told CJ Leak when they started Ainge as a true freshmen. Leak ended up getting benched.

Yes.

No.

No. Warren is Crompton's go to guy.

I have yet to see Warren do anything and what do you mean no to Brown and Oku being better than Hardesty? Brown and Oku are ripping off bigger runs, running people over while Hardest is fumbling games away. I thought Hardesty kinda sucked last year. He may be the starter at the beginning of the season but I have a feeling that changes rather quickly. Brown already seems to be way better. Oku too for that matter.

Lamaison getting a shot now. Completes his first pass to Nukeese.

Is the tackling crisp and no one just sticking there arm out?

Keep in mind we don't have our 1st team defense in by any stretch, but tackling has been decent, defensive backs have looked lazy on a few tackles,

Rod Wilks just laid the thunder on the tailback.
