Lotsa folks that hang around the Bammer program say he is the 2nd coming of Saban and is the successor in waiting. IF that were to happen I think Kiffin would be successful there and would after a period of time finally get the Tide the death penalty so richly deserved.Last I checked Kiffin is still at Bama
when mistakes are made, if we smart we learn from them!
The very reason Kiffin is at Alabama right now is because he was within a blocked field goal of beating them the year they won a NC. (with a woefully undermanned squad)
I think Kiffin is smart and has learned from past mistakes.
He will become (already is) a force to be dealt with in the SEC for a long time.
No matter how he left Tennessee high and dry.
I seriously doubt if he is DEATH PENALTY material.

He's not a good HC, but the vast majority of what you posted has nothing to do with his ability as a play caller. I thought it was the one thing he did well at TN, and he continues to do so at his current stop.Give me a break. Let's see him as an OC at literally any other SEC school right now and then judge him... and he certainly is probation material. He didn't just leave us high and dry - we were placed on probation because of violations committed while he was here. He was knee deep into everything - the Lache Seastrunk/ Willie Lyles scandal, Lacy Pearl Earps and her buddy taking a trip to SC and multiple examples of impermissible contact. He was immature and a discredit to the university. Things didn't get better for him at USC either. USC began 2012 a pre-season #1. They ended 7-6 with a loss to Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl. He was an atrocious head coach.
