Saturday could be the start of it all....

Im gonna call his bluff on his business too. I was born and raised in pulaski. The only thing there is sundrop.
I was born in Pulaski at a very early age. GCHS class of 78. Sundrop, Shelia Frost who played for Pat in 80's, Moonglo Drive in, Bee Line and Dixie Maid restaraunts. Mr. Gordon who played for UT in 60's. Before the High School playoffs, we had the state high achool bowl system and Pulaski had the oldest high school bowl.game in the state, The Butter Bowl. Also home to the Ledgendary Milkway Farms ,home of Kentucky Derby winner Galahadion.

It's possible that our turnaround begins this Saturday, who knows right? I think it's vital that for that turnaround to happen, the sunshine pumpers need to outweigh all of the negative Nancy posters that continue to do nothing but moan and groan and bitch about every little move our program makes. The mob rules these days and we've let them rule this program in the ground. Every single Vol fan here knows that our downturn began when all the negative nancies ran Fulmer out of town. We've had this argument for years now and it's time to stop! We've got a good coach, a good staff and a good AD, something we all thought might never happen again with the haslam's at the helm. It's time to get on board or get gone! Time for the good to become the Vol Mob! Stop replying to these clowns, start blocking them the 2nd time you see one of their 12 year old views. Let the ugly go be with the ugly, let the guys and gals that root for the Vols with that ray of hope for victory every Saturday be the fans you associate with! I'm hoping that about 20 of the negative nancies block me immediately, sooner or later I'll never have to see em again. As for the Vols I think we've got a good chance vs Auburn. Saturday was a physical game that resulted in a beatdown for them. They are tired, beat up, looking at us as a pushover and thinking of nothing but having the next weekend off! Vols are an afterthought to Auburn and those 11:00 games at home are brutal! The orange sunshine pumpers think we get it done!! 28-20 Vols
P.S. NegaVols feel free to reply with your usual negative views, that will help me get my list to where it needs to be!

Let them do their thing. They are just trying to cope with the tough run we all are going thru.
Auburn knows they are in for a fight. They will need to have a good game to beat us. The timing of our off week couldn’t have been better.

What does Smokey say? Ruff ruff on the Tigers.

That's cool, you graduated the year I was born.
Theres some pretty good people from there. Moingli drive in has been gone for years, along with bee line and dixie maid. There was a pretty good spot called slyline restaurant that was good, its closed too. Milky Way os beautiful, didnt know it housed a Derby winner. The only reason anyone has heard of it now is because of the tough mudder and spartan races it holds.
I spent alot of my childhood between there and Columbia, and I'll say Pulaski has fared better than Columbia, its.really sad to visit there. I think the saturn car plant closing is what hurt it the most..

Once again the only reason you pumpers think we will win is GBO. I mean, do you all not realize 3-9 is looking us in the face?

Of course we realize that's possible, why do you have to continue spouting it off? Why do you have to point out a negative every time? Time to find some positive energy or get lost. I nor the team surely don't need you reminding everyone every chance you get that you think they suck so bad that 3-9 is our only out! What a joke, bye bye

My sister was class of 75, me 87. My dad played for the unbeaten and butter bowl team that crushed Johnny Majors high school team back in the day. Tyler Smith from Pulaski played for the Vols BB team under Pearl.

There were some great athletes in that timeframe from GCHS. Sanderson, Blue McElroy (Tn state record in the 100 yrs dash back then), Robert Huff, Mae Francis White, Yancey Lancaster, Billy Smith (Tyler's dad), the Frost brothers, Mike and Ken I think who were 6'7 twin brothers, Sheila's brothers. Those were some good teams back then.

This statement almost makes me mad..."he knows football"..WTH does it even mean?

There are countless coaches across the nation that "know" football and yet suck at coaching it. Unless of course they have more talent than the next guy. Then they look like great coaches and many believe they are.

How much a coach knows dont meant all that much. It is how much his players know and how close they can come to executing what they know flawlessly. IE coaching is teaching and not just teaching but your pupils need to understand wtf you want if your team is going to be successful.

All HC of Divison 1 teams know football. Many sofa warriors know it also. But only the ones who can teach their team what they know and how to execute it well will be successful.

I think he has proven that he can teach football ,but it really doesn't matter you have made up your mind about him, and thats fine only time will tell. And you getting mad is really not a big concern to me...

Not blaming them at all. We are letting all the negaVols go be with themselves. Gonna start ignoring them all, sooner or later the only people who see your post will be NegaVols, which I assume you will enjoy! Bye bye
Lol. You can't even handle the level one negaVols before you start crying about ignoring... Lol

Do better, junior.

Go ahead and add me to the list bc I’m not sure what to tell you since the garbage you’ve seen this season so far hasn’t been enough to make you realize we won’t beat even a decent team this year
What did you think we would see up to this point? I’m seeing a broken team that is coming together slowly but surely. All the right things are happening, and the team will continue to get stronger. We have a shot this weekend! It could be the real start to the Pruitt era! Go big orange!

I dont Know what makes him mad about us having a football genius at the helm. Pruitt is levels ahead of the “countless” coaches who “Know football.” If he “Knew football” then he would see that.

He has made up his mind about him and that's fine, he is not the only one, i believe they are wrong but i could definitely be wrong. But i don't think so.

The OP's rationale for his position is "anything's possible." He can't give you a thoughtful reason the Vols have a good chance to win football games. You know, things like improved offensive line play. Improved secondary. Better play calling. Key injuries to opponent rosters. But when you point out his position is devoid of any content, he blocks you. To each his own I guess.

As I have stated elsewhere, I am optimistic long term for this team. But it will be few years of coaching stability and roster improvement before we can get there. If that makes me a "negavol" to this guy then so be it. Better to be realistic and patient than blindly hoping for things that are very unlikely to happen.

There's negativity around bevause we may do worse than our historically bad season last year. We went cheap again on the hire and have a guy that has no proven track record one way or the other. Face it, when it comes to +/- our program is waaaaaaay in the red. You pumped can ignore that all you want but some of us need proof before we buy into another coach.

Whoever mentiomed better play calls and such must not have watched the same UT game I did because just like Butch's staff this one waited until way too late to open it up while playing not to get embarrassed, which we did.

Another one here boys, he is a NegaVol and proud of it. Also likes to count posts, kinda weird but maybe he will figure it out as it was a setup to get rid of fans exactly like him. Enjoy your pit of misery! Bye bye!

By God I made the list, most excellent!! Mr. Sunshine Pumper just loves to scream his overwhelming optimism but when someone points out reality he pouts and blocks/ignores them . . . I hope buttercup doesn't go through life in this manner, he'll miss most things and end up wondering what happened!!

Bye-bye snowflake!! I hope that I didn't hurt your precious feelings . . . well, never mind because I don't give a s#!t if I did.

GBO

You should move on as we may never win one again in your lifetime. Probably will never win again because we haven't in 2 years!! Do you think telling us we have not won in 2 years helps anyone?
literally nothing on this board helps anything. Its just a message board. If you need this place to keep from blowing your brains out, well, you may need to seek help elsewhere.

I thought it was interesting when Jimmy Hyams (who everyone calls a schill for the football program) said on 104.5 in Nashville that UT had no chance to beat Auburn.

I thought when Jimmy said something, everyone else in the world already knew it?

These threads are entertainment gold! OP starts a thread basically threatening to put everyone who disagrees with him on ignore. Then he posts every time he does, basically saying look at me.
