I have dish since I live in the middle of nowhere and I have a login name and password. I think it would be the same as if you were going to check or pay your bill. Best thing to do is just try it now to see if it works. Just go to any live game and it will direct you. If you already use the app at all then you're all set, don't have to do anything different.
