SARKISIAN FIRED

Unlike Sarkissian, teams he has coordinated for have shown marked improvement, more than once. His second year at Bama as OC they went from 7-6 to 12-1; he was OC the two years that Herman coached at Houston.
Sark improved every college offense he took over, including the one he took over from Kiffin at USC.

And Herman has always called the plays in his offense. Applewhite got that HC gig as a glorified assistant QB coach.

Reasons why we don't have a OC yet.
1. HC JP hasn't found who he wants
2. Waiting for an OC who is on staff else where to complete their bowl season and then the talking starts
3. as HC JP indicated he wants to put more value on recruits interest in him and our school brand not the flash in the pan hiring of a new OC
4. maybe there is truth to potential OC hires realizing that we don't have the jimmies and the joe's on offense making the job kinda tough in the SEC-rather come into a stable of mustangs not burros
5. a potential OC wants a lot of control be it through play calling and bringing in their own staff
6. he has who he wants right now on staff-just wants to finish out recruiting season because that announcement would bring such negative attention from Vol fans on the program that Coach Pruitt doesn't need
7. this hire has to meet the total approval of both CPJ and Coach Fulmer -check all blocks on both individual hiring check list
8. top tier of UT athletic boosters have their hands in it
9. nobody wants the job
10. the program has lost its appeal
11. to much local scrutiny by the local media and UT Athletics web site guru's

Personally I just hope we find the right person to bring back the spirit of the Vol Nation-and that we can focus on supporting Tennesssee Football -like we are now with Tennessee Basketball

Please add if you wish

#9 exactly!!!!!!!!!!!

12. Maybe this is what CJP and ADPF are quite. Close to chest...and trying to train fans to quit their complaining...Really driving them nuts...

Pruitt: Who taught you your offensive philosophy you will use here at Tennessee?
Sark: I spent time under a couple of legends in the industry. Dumas Walker and Curtis Lowe
