SARKISIAN FIRED

Sark would be a homerun hire at Tennessee.

Hope he is the guy, if he is not so be it. Just seems to make a lot of sense for him and Pruitt to be in same staff again. Both know what’s expected of each side of the ball & recruting.

I think this is a good point. Pruitt wouldn't have to get involved with the offense with Sark leading it. With what he did at Washington and USC the guy is a good college OC. Which gives Pruitt time to fix the defense even more. I think after one game this year after some really bad offensive calls Pruitt said something to the lines about paying more attention to the offense. So that leads me to believe he'd like to have someone he trusts to run it without much input from him, Sark checks every box Pruitt wants.

He'd be a good choice.

We are the Vols, somehow, someway, we will screw this up. I am probably wrong but I can see them waiting on an answer from Yurcich only to see him take the job at OSU and during that same time of waiting watching Sark take another job.

@zydane47

Pruitt did seem VERY frustrated with the O this year. With Helton not understanding what he wanted or sometimes even just knowing what the score was on play calls.

And Pruitt put the O in bad positions too and admitted it several times. (That was refreshing)

Both him and Sark are both smart but aggressive on the field and in recruiting and I hope Sark is the guy.

But if not, I trust Pruitt. He is definitely focused on winning.
