Sarah Fuller scored against the University of Tennessee Volunteers football team

Lol, I was waiting for someone like you to go there. College Football is classified under Men's Sports. And MOST Women understand they have a place in this World (as the opposite sex) and know their physical limitations. That said; there does appear to be less Testosterone in todays Male Species. I think it's from the Soy.
LMAO women have all the power. They’re smart enough to let us think we’re in charge but when moma ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy. My horse is stronger than me but I own him. Football will remain a mans sport until the “woke” wuss bunch changes the rules. There’s no doubt in my mind it will happen someday. Hell it’s already happening and not just because a girl kicked a couple of extra points.

I didn't expect someone to minimize the significance of this.

Dude...I raised 2 girls, wear pink without reservations, have had my toenails painted more than once. I've decorated birthday cakes, changed diapers, and dressed my girls for ballet recitals.

You think you are more man than me? Today I've worked cows, built a fire, told a boyfriend how it works when he didn't show my daughter the respect I demand. I got up at 330am today, will tomorrow, and Monday to provide for my girls.

So...no, I'm not emasculated. Never have been. Never will be.

You want man lessons? Look me up.

All that said...Sarah Fuller scored against the University of Tennessee Volunteers football team.
Yeah, nothing screams insecure quite like telling people how MAN you are

Worst team in the country, we're talkin about...we're trying to roll our coach loathing into some kind of fight for manhood because a 'female kicker' did her job and we couldn't stop her, dafuq???...BSV is alive and kickin

So tell us all the significance of Sarah Fuller kicking a PAT against UT, one that warrants a thread dreading such a thing as embarrassing. All you've done is out yourself as a bigot. Congrats.

Forever and ever recorded in the history of not only football, not only Power 5 football, not only SEC Football, but all of sports.

...and just 3 short months ago Jeremy Pruitt was given an extension and a raise.

It's a good day for trolls.

Stand by

I really hope your point is that we allowed Vandy to score a TD against us allowing her to kick the PAT.... Otherwise your logic is lost on 99.9% of the rest of us. There is literally zero correlation between who Vandy put on the field to kick a PAT and CJP's extension and a raise. You could make an argument that they should not have scored on us but even then the water boy or trainer could have kicked the PAT.... Nothing to do w/UT Football so who cares?

So you think it’s ok for a female to play D1 football?

If they are competitive at the position absolutely. It is up to the school and team to make that decision, not us. Given the competitive nature of the sport no team is going to play someone that doesn't contribute to winning She did her job and that's that. Why anyone cares is beyond me.

Well, thats where the point gets lost.

Had Vandy not trotted their "long FG" kicker out there to attempt a 39 yard FG (which he made) it doesnt really look as much like a stunt. I dont think anyone here believes he can make a 39 yarder, but shes the best option for an EP.

Lol. Your first sentence shows ignorance beyond belief. So I assume you are in favor of females playing make sports and vice versa? So if TN decided hey, Yves Pons is competitive at his position and let him play for the Lady Vols, you would be ok with that? I don’t care that she did her job. She shouldn’t have been out there. She could have gotten severely injured. Females and males are vastly different.

lol, take it how you want to but that is your inference and not at all what I wrote; Quite the opposite actually. The implication is that if someone can "play up" that is up to coaches and teams. There is nothing in my post to suggest we send guys into women's sport. Don't be such a simpleton.

Fair take and agree. Teams do have long and short kickers but not as common as a kickoff specialist and FG specialist.

EDIT: It did make it feel like more of a publicity stunt than anything. She did what she was asked to do but would have really been impressed if she put a 40 yard FG through....

I asked simply if you thought it’s ok if a female played D1 football. Your answer was if they are competitive at their position then absolutely. So that implies that I’d like with my analogy stated, Barnes and Harper thought Pons was competitive then he could play for the Lady Vols and you would be fine with it. I mean how is that not what you meant?

I disagree you can flip my point on its head without it specifically being stated. As stated I don't have a problem with a female playing D1 if she is competitive and can do the job. I don't know where you are reading that to mean our men's teams can go play female sports. There is no distinct advantage to a female moving up to a more competitive sport. There is very clear advantage for a male athlete, at a competitive level, to move to female sports and would be dangerous for the women competitors in many regards.

If you took what I wrote the wrong way, okay, it happens. all good from my end. To be clear, not what I was inferring.

What does it matter? Is she somehow not qualified to score a XP? Is TN somehow less of a school because they allowed a female to score a point against them?
For someone raising girls, you sure seem to have a pretty sexist attitude towards this event.

You misread it (or I poorly characterized my point of view)...either way, did not mean any negative toward her.

They do but theres typically not a drastic difference between the 2 like 1 is specifically used for EPs.

But after watching her kick off against Mizzou, and kick the EP against UT, (then not kick off or attempt either FG) it just screams the only reason she is out there is because she is a female. Not because she can kick a football well.

Not trying to slam the idea that a female cant play D1 football, but she wouldnt be a kicker on any team Ive watched in college football based on her ability. Which is why she should have been on the field if you re gonna sell the idea of a barrier being torn down.
