Looking forward to watching him play. He will help this team because he is a true point guard. I believe JJJ has a good future but is not ready to play point at this level of BBall.

James is needed off the ball rebounding. Bowden needs a therapist. Johnson needs confidence. And Uros needs to play ASAP. If they get to 17 wins the season will be a success.
Agree, really agree, agree again and it is not happening, but would be nice. 17 wins would be a success, but 18 regular season wins and one SEC Tourney gets UT in, imo

Vescovi has at least 8 VolNation threads and hasn't played a single minute yet. Don't suppose we're expecting a bit much from an 18 year old joining a team going into their Power 5 conference schedule with a week to prepare are we?
Born out of desperation...can’t be helped.

Two weeks ago: Highly unlikely he plays this year.
One week ago: He'll play when he's ready, huge learning curve.
Today: He draws his first career start just a day after being ruled eligible.

He is either really good or we are really desperate. Maybe both.

But I thought the NCAA hated UT and he would never possibly get cleared?
You must be thinking about UP....He probably will not be cleared this season and lose a year of eligibility...As far as SV is concerned, hard to deny him playing time as long as he met all the requirements. It was a no-brainer as long as he met the standards. I guess the NCAA, regarding these two, considers it a "push" at the expense of UP. Rules are Rules but when it comes to the Student-Athlete decisions should always be adjudicated in the Student Athlete's favor....I am sure you already knew that.
