Good for Santi. Glad to see he’s finding success overseas. Wish he shot with this type of confidence his last year here lol.

I just watched Santi go to his right more in a 1-minute clip of a single game than I did in 4.5 years at Tennessee. 😄

Good for him. I'm sure he's making good money internationally doing what he loves.

I've wondered if Santi's court IQ and knowledge of what Barnes wanted exceeded his young brain's ability to re-focus when his scoring was needed. He played the game here with so much court awareness.

Much easier maybe in AmeriCup where his team has only a couple of well-defined roles for him to play. Also, he's older and his brain is more fully developed.

Every year (except his last) Santi would come in, play every aggressive on offense, driving the ball to the basket, passing behind his back for assists, etc. Then after the 3rd or 4th game each year, it was gone.

Later, One announcer said “Barnes doesn’t like Vescovi to drive”.

Happy to see him do good.

When Dalton came it seems like Santi was the odd man out and lost his confidence. Had those 2 really gelled properly that season may have been different.
