12 tackles for loss makes San Diego State the #4 ranked defense in the country in TFL... Last season San Diego State ranked 100th in the country in TFL.

3 sacks makes San Diego State the #17 ranked defense in sacks... Last season San Diego State ranked 108th in sacks.

This was the 112th ranked defense they just played...

UCLA ran 69 plays... 17% of them went for negative yardage. They converted 35% on 3rd down, and had 0 attempted on 4th down. UCLA fumbled the ball three times, losing one... and threw two interceptions on 31 attempts.(~6%). They also averaged 3.8 YPC.

Note, this is against San Diego State... coached by former New Mexico coach Rocky Long. How will they look against a defense coached by Monte Kiffin with a lot more speed?

looking at these stats would lead one to believe that the bruins are going scoreless in knoxville..

Good stuff!

This makes me feel even better about the game! All I can picture is Rico comin' though the middle and causing mayhem.

Plenty of pressure is going to force UCLA to force throws downfield, and then you know the rest... (Eric Berry)

So if SDSU had 12 sacks for a loss, does that mean UT should at least double that number? I sure hope so!!!

I vision EB setting a new NCAA record this weekend.

I vision pain for the UCLA offense.

I vision a huge day for JC against a week secondary.

I vision a 45-13 win for "The Big Orange"!!!!!!

LOL good one, atleast you caught it. Its so close to game time, can't wait Neyland will be rocking, plus America's sweetheart Erin Andrews will be on the sideline. PERFECT!

GO VOLS!

Oh I saw a UCLA fan on campus today while I was walking to class, just reminded me how close Saturday is.

First UCLA drive = 2 TFL, 1 sack
Fourth UCLA drive = 1 TFL
Fifth UCLA drive = 1 TFL
Sixth UCLA drive = 2 TFL
Seventh UCLA drive = 1 TFL, 1 sack
Eighth UCLA drive = 1 TFL, 1 sack
Tenth UCLA drive = 2 TFL
Final UCLA drive = 1 TFL

Don't know if the stats count kneel downs(I didn't include them), this was also a quick read through... could be off or have missed some stuff. The only drive the backup QB was in was the final drive, and it appears the backup TBs came in on the next to last drive(not the tenth).

The early stuff didn't bother me. Couple of botched snaps. Option run that I'd never seen. Couple of screen passes that didn't fly....eh...cobwebs...young team.
