Honestly, I think Pittman was probably pretty well liked by the players, so them mailing it in the rest of the year seems more likely than rallying around an interim that will almost certainly be a coaching downgrade. Either way, WGWTFA.

He will likely go back to Georgia to be their O-Line coach.

Petrino has been 100% in charge of the offense from what I have read and seen. Not sure this change does anything for the game. We play like we should and limit dumb mistakes like dropped balls, poor tackling, and those type of things I think we blow them out.

You realize they lost to Memphis and Ole Miss largely because they fumbled on potentially game winning/tying drives in the final minute of games in back to back weeks?

Some of yall need to calm down thinking every coach, including one who just got fired, is better than Heupel.
