Sam Pittman could be the end of Dooley

I don't mean to be negative. But, is this the best OL coach UT can get? If so, it may not matter who the next ST, DC, and other D position coach will be.

Of course, that is in the ACC, not SEC. I am not impressed at all. I hope I am wrong. But, I don't see this as a good hire. Maybe they threw the ball a lot and the average per attempt was good. I hope so for Dooley and the UT Fans sake!!! I am tired of watching the Vols be in the SEC cellar!!!

I hope you are right. I have confidence the line will be much improved with four juniors on the line. I hope Sam is a good hire. The NC stats in rushing don't look impressive at all. Maybe he and Chaney will gel from a scheme standpoint to have the OL pass and run blocking well.

I think Dooley will be the end of Dooley. I disagree with you and the notion that Pittman is a bad coach. You are just looking at what stat...you aren't looking at the whole body of work.

Their best rushing threat this past season was a redshirt freshman named Giovanni Bernard. He had very good individual numbers.
