I know he won’t be cheap, but unless some other big name comes out, he’s getting to be the last of the big QB names left.Looks good on paper. His injury is really concerning imo and he won’t be cheap. You’re up against Oregon to sign him; did I mention he won’t be cheap
I would be good with that. I figured that's about what we would spend for a QB, knowing our other needs to fill. I would not want to throw $4 million+ like some of these other dudes are getting. Texas Tech can do it, and I'm not even sure TT is going to get their ROI. They might end up being Florida State with more money.I have heard some analysts say they think it’s possible his injury brings his price point down. If we got him for 2.8 Million how would you feel about that? Or anything 3 and under?
I can’t blame him for wanting to negotiate with us. Earning $2.8 to sit on a bench for a season sounds like a winner to me. Heupel’s best talent sat on the bench last season for nice paychecks.I have heard some analysts say they think it’s possible his injury brings his price point down. I don't care what they spend! The money they make they have it.
What was his injury?
Personality wise there are a lot of red flags, and I’m surprised this board is ignoring that so much. I mean, didn’t he skip out on a banquet with the team or something like that? That reminds me a lot of how Nico handled his exit.Don’t want him and his foot injury along with his attitude and helicopter parents
Every time I make that argument about that same thing, I get roasted on here.Look, Mendoza was a 2 star. We don’t need to spend millions on a qb. We need to get one on the team that can play. Why in the hell do we have Mac and Brandon sitting on the bench taking 5-7 mil in nil? Take your lumps, spend on defense and play what you got
Pretty sure that’s what Derrick Henry had a few years agoLisfranc (Midfoot) Injury - OrthoInfo - AAOS
Lisfranc (midfoot) injuries result if bones in the midfoot are broken or ligaments that support the midfoot are torn. The severity of the injury can vary from simple to complex, involving many joints and bones in the midfoot.orthoinfo.aaos.org
The same reason the majority of teams don't play their true fresh or backups. Remember, the backup qb is always the most popular player lolLook, Mendoza was a 2 star.
