You may be right but I see their point. If I'm a recruit and I can be coached by a Heisman runner up, National Championship winning qb with these endorsements as a coach it might get my attention. We'll see how it works out. GBO!

I want to be excited for this but then I remember Zach Azzani got praise from Antonio Brown and he was probably the worst WRs coach in UT history

Josh was not Bradford's OC. Kevin Wilson was the OU OC during Bradford's Sooner career. Heupel was the QB coach. Bradford was a 3 star out of an OKC suburb and won the job to start the 2007 season. In 2008 he played behind one of OU's greatest O-lines anchored by now all-pro Trent Williams. Unfortunately, he never played behind such a line again. He was beat to a pulp his entire pro career. He was the NFL offensive rookie of the year but it went down hill with injuries. Heupel became OC in 2011 and he had Landry Jones for 2 years followed by Blake Bell and Trevor Knight.

Agree about the leadership issues. Hope you're right about him getting the most out of dudes. Certainly appears as such up to now. Dig the avatar. Haha.

Yeah, he never achieved much in the pro's....injured a lot. When you're the number 1 pick, you usually go to the worst team( no protection, sub par talent) but I appreciate his encouragement of our coach.

This^^^ What concerns me about 'locking down the borders' is if he is walking completely away from Florida. I can hit 5 stars from my back deck. And he wants to worry about Memphis? Aren't their 7 SEC teams closer to MEM than Knoxville?

Go get the best... no matter where they are.

Let’s just be patient and watch the development. Maybe by spring, we will start seeing this beautiful identity of our offense and players.
