I think he will be able to get the most out of what we have and the true leaders will come to the front in the process. We have lacked any true upfront leaders for several years and I think that has proven to be a major problem as well as the inability to develop a QB. This should all change for the better.

One of the things Josh mentioned during the Vols Calls interview last night was that Memphis was one of his assigned cities when he was OC at Mizzou, so he spent time there and got to know a lot of the local schools and coaches. That experience should serve him well in coming years, as he goes to lock down our borders. *thumbsup*

This is what will be the biggest test. He will get the offense to a good position so the defense will need to be able to create take a ways. The DC will also need to be able to create a pass rush.

Not distracting from Heupel or what he has done, but don't these little statement snips kind of seem like a push by the UTAD to say "We get it, he's not a big name, super sexy, huge splash sort of hire you as fans were all expecting, but read these and see if we can't get a little excitement going..."
