We really need a large group of former V4Ls to get together with this current team and just talks to them, so they can see how proud they are to be a V4L and give these guys a reason to compete hard every down. Butch clearly isn't getting this done. The players no longer respect him,but I believe they would have respect for the guys that paved the way before them. I'm not just talking about 2 or 3 I mean a large group. I hope somehow this happens because the product o n the field right now is awful.

Here is a better idea - get all those V4Ls to ante up Butch's buyout

Ahem, that's the head coaches job. That's why he's making the millions. He needs to be fired ASAP 🔥

Just about all orange blooded Vols are coming to the agreement that Butch is simply not the answer. We're treading water and a change needs to be made by the end of the season. It is what it is.

if you have to call VFL's to come in and give the team a "pep" talk, you are in BIG trouble...doubt if Butch does that...he wouldn't admit it anyway...not for that...:)

Salvage the season by firing butch NOW and hire Fulmer to finish out season. If Fulmer finishes strong, offer him an extended contract of some kind. He is 67, so he might have a couple good years left in him, and let him retire then go for that big name. Fulmer is the best recruiter tennessee has ever had, with maybe the exception of doug dickey, so the program would def be in good shape for the next coach
