Considering no one has accurately picked East winner in like 5 years, I'm going to go ahead and not care about this prediction

The media's percentage is abysmal, almost comical.

I will say this for Ky, they were #1 in the East last year in Nov for a week and ended tied for 2nd place last year with Tn and Ga.

Stopped reading at Kentucky lol. Reporters are so silly these days for clicks, listens, or views.

Get used to seeing UGA at the top of the East - they return the most starters and everyone is obsessed with their QB.

Same thing for Kentucky - they're returning a lot of starters from a "surprising bowl eligible season."

Just prepare yourselves for UGA to be the sure pick in the East, and UK to be the "sexy pick"

UGA will have the best most experienced QB in the East. He'll also have the worst and least experienced OL in the East. They are projecting 3 highly rated true freshman OLs.

SEC Pre-Spring Rankings:
East:
1) Georgia
2) Florida
3) Kentucky
4) Tennessee
5) South Carolina
6) Missouri
7) Vanderbilt

Obvious shocker is he has Mizzou over Vanderbilt, no way Mizzou isn't 7th

SEC Pre-Spring Rankings:
West:
1) Alabama
2) Auburn
3) LSU
4) Mississippi State
5) Texas A&M
6) Arkansas
7) Ole Miss

Seeing Ole Miss last is karma

Salee says Butch Jones and the Vols shot their wad in year 4......5th in the SEC east in year 5.....quite possibly so

Kensuckey 3? :eek:lol:

In all honesty I think we have the tools to finish 2nd or 3rd. It would take an upset of either UGA or UT and one of those teams to struggle. It would take UK sweeping MSU, Vandy, USCjr and Mizzou. Ideally UK finishes with just a couple losses against some combo of UF, UGA, and UT. Reality will probably be quite different.

No we dont. There is absolutely zero reason to rank UK above Tennessee. South Carolina. Kentucky, no.

Not saying they should be predicted over Tn but why not USC? You do realize they finished above them last year, right?

To say Ky can't finish 3rd when they finished 2nd last year is a bit flawed, no?

Shows how weak the east really is.

Damn you Cat, why do you have to be so humble and meek? It's very disarming. Talk smack, and be a douche so I can feel good when I rip on Can-Turkey Hoss

They always recruit great and they always **** the bed. UGA is going to UGA just like always imo.

You do realize the coaching staff changed and this isn't your usual Richt coached UGA???? Not sayin Kirby is a great coach I'm just sayin this is your usual UGA.

Yup and UGA was ******** the bed before Richt was hired. Goff, and Donnan all recruited great and always underachieved. UGA has won 2 SEC rings since 1982 even though they almost always recruit top classes.

UGA has done less with more for over 30 years and I have no reason to believe that's going to change under Kirby. I very well could be wrong but I'll believe it when I see it.

No reason to prepare ourselves for anything. We have seen the uga hype train every year. It's comical. Heck we are use to seeing UGA being picked first or super hyped, they are always hyped to no end. They are the summertime paper champs. No way we end up any lower than 3rd, actually I think end up 1st or 2nd but only time will tell and none of this stuff means a dadgum thing. It will be settled on the field.GBO!!!!!!

If UGA wins the East this year, I expect them to be on top for a long time because of their insane recruiting

Atlanta area in itself has a population of 5.7M not including the rest of the state. Recruiting isn't that hard at UGA. It's also a big reason we get a lot of players from Georgia.

I wish the Vols were picked dead last because that would serve to motivate them imho.
