That's true. What I don't know is how much bigger the pool of candidates would be after nsd. Are their candidates in college that don't want to screw their school or NFL guys not free yet? I don't know that the possibilities expand that much, but if the guy or guys they want aren't avail til then, I'd rather they wait. I can't see any potential dc that is going to pull a slew of 4 or 5 star commits.
I'm just not feeling it with Sunseri. Maybe I just don't know enough about him. I really can't see bringing a LB coach from Alabama to be our DC when we could just promote LT. Sunseri was a DC for a year at Illinois State and a couple of years at Alabama A&M, but I'm just having a hard time seeing this as a good hire.
