How many candidates does this make now?? About 10?? I know it takes time but we really need to fill these spots before signing day.

I would be okay with this hire. Man, GVX is right... It sure has been quiet.

I woud not be surprised though if it were an NFL coach now that their saeson is coming to an end. Either way, sure would love to have this hire wrapped up by weekend!

I would'nt mind Sunseri, and would rather have him over Barry. I also really want Dooley to get Chuck Smith to coach the DL

I wonder if this means Wes doesn't know or if he isn't willing to reveal who it is...

Hiring a DC before signing day is not going to make OR break this class. Take your time Coach, and find the guy you want.

We will not sign a Defensive Coordinator before NSD imo because noone wants to pull a Kiffin. People dont want to be grouped with scum like Lame, Ogre, Garza and Monty.

My guess is CDD is interviewing a couple NFL guys today that just finished their season, and the announcement will be tomorrow. I think he got verbals last week, and is formalizing it today.

It should happen in time to set up some visits this weekend, although the OL won't be improved by this hire, so your assessment is correct. Take your time.

DL or LB coach promoting to DC is nothing like pulling a Kiffin.

After only one season, he took the HC, DC, RC out of town 3 weeks before NSD and tried to take some EE's with him.

Not even in the ballpark.
