Yeah, that other conference is still going to go through the motions and have a championship game.

I got the Saints, rather handily.

Ditka would defeat the hurricane because he would forecast himself and have his drinking buddies go to the eye of the storm and suck the life out of the hurricane.

weather will be a factor...cold and snowy in Chicgao...weather will favor the bears. dome teams from LA probably don't fare too well in the wintery elements at soldier feild.

rooting for the saints. think they can win. but a slight lean to the bears for now.

ummm..Drew Brees, quarterback, Purdue University.
I'm guessing he's seen snowflakes.

Seriously, I heard Aikman say the other day on PTI this... "Nobody likes to play in cold weather, I don't care what they say. The weather is not an issue unless the wind becomes a factor..." or something pretty close to that.

I really never bought into the warm weather/cold weather team stuff myself. Especially when all the marbles are on the table. Right now, it's 'eyes on the prize and the weather be damned'...

agree about Brees...but he's been used to sunny SD and now hot and humid south Louisiana...you never know.

I do agree that no team likes to play in bad weather, including the home team, but it is worth noting that it's not just weather, but where the weather is. Cold and crappy in Nashville is different than cold and crappy in Chicago or Green Bay......wind will likely be a factor.

and there is some history to take from this...Tampa Bay went how long w/out winning a game in a temp. below freezing?

conditions do play a factor...how big of a factor, is very debatable. whether it's the playing surface--condition or type, weather, dome etc....it can make a difference. and the bears will be a bit more used to it than the Saints.....they have to live in it, practice in etc...the saints don't. that's all i'm getting at. Saints are still perfectly capable of winning this game....

All perfectly logical I guess jake....

This time I'm going to fall in line with the 'destiny' believers.

Saints=destiny's darlings this year

Vs.

Colts=destined to finally get there

In the finale though, Peyton now has the focus to finish.
Colts over Saints 34-24

I like the Bears but also respect the Saints, they are a good team and I like Reggie Bush. As long as you dont play the Colts good luck.

that'd be fine with me.

The Bears would have to play in the bad weather, too. Grossman has a tough enough time taking care of the ball in perfect conditions.
