I just don't know about that. Ain't gonna argue, but I just can't pull the trigger that easily.

He'll age out and I'd be surprised if he makes a turnaround within the system. Especially within the juvenile detention centers.

Nailed it.

This assumes he was the trigger man, of course.

Good odds are that he’s snitching his face off about now.

The NY press is now sliming the victim of course. There are claims being made she "was out looking to buy weed."

Even if she were that's no reason to knife up a young woman and take her life.

Actually, it's the police union sliming their mayor by calling attention to laws he ordered them to no longer enforce. If I can put this respectfully to everyone's politics, Giuliani followed the "no broken windows" policy, and crime statistics fell to the lowest rates in a long time. DeBlasio rescinded those policies and demanded a "less antagonistic" approach from law enforcement. The NYPD union believes those policies have been counterproductive, and was opining that lack of enforcement (including marijuana laws) is what led to Majors' death--not her possible reason for being in the park.

Of course, how different news sources present that information is another issue...

[full disclosure: my news source was NYPD union rips de Blasio after he criticized their handling of Tessa Majors murder: ‘Tell the TRUTH Bill’]

Horrible news.

Thoughts are with Coach Majors and his family.

Just terrible how people and, especially kids, seem to be more desensitized to the consequences of their own actions by the day.

Or if NY was not so archaic, pot could be ordered online and delivered to her door. Instead of her having to walk the streets and having to buy from sketchy people.
