Tennessee has not publicly decided whether or not to sell alcohol to Volunteer fans inside Neyland Stadium this fall but that decision could be coming soon.

While Tennessee fans patiently wait for the news, the “SEC Shorts” crew has put together a hilarious video showcasing all the reasons Volunteer fans may want to partake in the consumption of alcohol this fall, if Neyland Stadium is permitted to sell beer and wine.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Lane Kiffin, Butch Jones, and Bama...just add in Dooley and the coaching hire fiasco. Maybe because I'm 50 years old or maybe I don't wear rose colored glasses but I found it hilarious because it's 100% true. I love the Vols and went to school at UTK and grew up in TN.....our football team is on the rise and we have the right coach but it will take time to erase the stink of the last 15 years.

Video was fine but low hanging fruit. As for alcohol sales; I was under the impression that the university has already decided they will sell beer and that it's currently in the hands of the city liquor board as to "how."

This is correct; the city tabled further discussion of Aramark's proposal until July, but the hope is to have everything ready to go for an Alice Cooper concert at TBA on August 3rd and I highly doubt that the Knoxville Beer Board is going to bite the hand that feeds here.

What percentage of people at the game are students who cannot legally purchase nor consume alcohol?

Where are you going with this Dave? Don't you dare say anything negative about selling beer. You can be negative about the team, coaches and/or players, but not muh beer. I don't give a damn about kids, little or big.

I had a bad experience as a kid at an NFL game with a drunk fan, so I’m not crazy about beer sales in Neyland. But rn I’m in the student section for games where everybody is already drunk so I guess it wouldn’t much affect me
