A pamphlet made its way around the UF student section. It included facts about UT players to taunt them with. It didn't seem to catch on much at all - which is a positive for the Gators who ignored it. Among the topics for taunting: that Lofton was not recruited by his home state, that JaJuan started as a walk-on, and that Tyler Smith has a tattoo dedicated to his father. That's what they planned to taunt our guys with. I wish I would have held on to a copy of the sheet.

I saw similar sheets in the UT student section after the UK game Sunday. Although I think they only listed each players hometown and tips for throwing off foul shooters.

why would they need to have a pamphlet to know this information? All of these things are pretty wildly known.

These sheets are strictly so we can know each players name and number. There is no information on the players life to taunt them with. However, several students use the sheet so they can yell at some of the players by name to try and distract them.

Weren't they call Brian Willliams Fat A.. or Lard A.. but he went ahead and made 2 free throws. That has to be the first pair he has made all season.

Their fans should ask Dan Werner if taunting Tyler is a good idea.

I could see Tyler running into the stands and snapping someone's neck in two.

"Fatality." "Flawless Victory."

Are you sure it was for taunting? Those things sound pretty much like general information.

The person near me who had the pamphlet thought it was for taunting. She said she agreed that those were ridiculous reasons to taunt, but she still often yelled "KY doesn't love you" after Lofton made shots down the stretch.

I got a better one for you. When the Gators came back late, people around me were talking about storming the court. I was mystified by that suggestion and at the same time preparing to jump out of the way if they did.

Heckling Tyler about his dad is just awful. Who would do that?

No-class Gators would.

Tyler did his talking on the floor. And if they were stupid enough to heckle him in that manner, it probably just motivated him more.

Maybe we'll get to kick their butts a third time in the SEC Tournament. Hopefully they'll lose at Rupp and have no chance at all of an at-large bid, and we can officially pack them off to the NIT.

I heard the same thing. The people around me said, "the students look like their wanting to storm the floor". Was that because we stormed the floor 2 years ago?

Great atmosphere though, what better place to clinch than at the Gator dump.

I think it was more because they've never done it. And, there was at least one senior near me who wanted to go out with a bang. An online poll run by the student newspaper received 57 responses, with 40% saying they would storm.

Were you at the game? And if so, did you play musical chairs. If this has been discussed, or I'm terribly off, don't mind me.

did anyone catch that artical in sports illustrated a few weeks ago about heckling at basketball games? I'm all for trying to give the home team an advantage but it seems lately heckling has gone to far. i think heckling is better when it's creative, rather than just plain mean.

I'm sorry, but just couldn't help myself. Did you read the post you quoted? Everybody carry on...

They may or may not have realized that he had passed.

Jesus Christ we are talking Gator fans they don't care about his father. He must be one tough guy to have a tatoo applied near his eye. The look that he gave some of the Gator's would send me running.

It very well could have been hearsay. So...yes I did read it.

Aww hell, who am I kidding. Yeah I did read it, but I was just making absolutely sure.
