Sabotage!

Alright I got Dobbs, Hurd and Kamara in the backfield. North, Pearson, and Pig at wide out. Also wolf at tight end

Ok so here's the play: 2 backs opposite of Dobbs, shift Dobbs out to Wide receiver, Hurd will fill in at Quarterback. Once the ball is snapped there is going to be a double reverse, first give it to Pig, then Dobbs comes and takes the second handoff, then you have
three options, either Wolf running a post
down the middle or Pearson and North are both running streaks down either sideline.
And we only bust this play out against Bama! Now what's your play using a different play and lineup.

Can Hurd throw? Pig seems to be the obvious choice to swap with Dobbs for that play.

Why do I have the feeling that (Alabama graduate Steve Shaw's) officiating crew would likely call "holding" on any successful UT trick play versus 'Bama? :dunno:

I hope the OL is improved so much that we can ram it down their throat, run it up their butts and run over them like a steam roller. I hope opposing defenses dread having to come back on the field.
Go Vols.

I like the 98 championship game played to Sabotage / youtube video made some years ago, especially with Peerless hauling in the bomb to the "guitar solo".

Great play if the refs ignore the fact that it's illegal. You have 2 RB, Dobbs, 3 WR, and a TE. That leaves 4 OL. Perhaps Pig is declared ineligible for the play and lines up as an OL, but still takes the first pitch. I suppose that's legal.

Ok, so dump the tight end and send Pig up the middle. He will be sure to get open and eternally grateful to you for not making him an offensive lineman or an ineligible receiver.

Who is taking the initial pitch if Pig is now going downfield?

I wonder if the huddles in between plays ever sound like this thread.

I'd just like to know going into the season that when a play works.....we continue to use it. When it doesn't work, we don't continue to beat the dead horse with it.
