Saban told Henry To’o To’o “I told you so”

Couple of quotes I found very interesting:
To'o To'o said:
"There was just so much stuff going on at Tennessee, it just wasn't healthy for me"
Like, "am I going to get in trouble for taking money from Pruitt to come to Tennessee?"

And...
AtoZ said:
To'o To'o, by the way, has the rare distinction of losing to Alabama in Neyland and also losing to Tennessee in Neyland. He never did get to smoke a cigar in Knoxville
Heh.

Go Vols!

Nothing new there, really. Just another explanation that makes no sense. It's a lot more likely that he was one of the players involved in the infractions, so he had to go someplace else. We may never know. If we do ever find out the truth, I wouldn't expect to hear it from Henry.

If this is true then it just proves Saban dumped Pruitt on us knowing exactly what he was doing. Remember this:

Of COURSE he did! I said it from the beginning! Pruitt was a GUMP, for God's Sake. Only Fulmer would be stupid enough to hire a gump to run our flagship program and Saban knew it. Be SURE to let me know the next time Bama hires a UT grad to coach their football team. I'll be waiting... a long while.

Well, he wasn't the Head Coach, but Bama's great defenses from the early 70's to the early 80's were a result of a Tennessee graduate and Neyland disciple (Ken Donahue).

he used that same quote on Dooley & Kirby and all his coaching tree/broken limbs. An easy copy & paste for a very busy saban.😂

"There was just so much stuff going on at Tennessee, it just wasn't healthy for me," said To'o To'o. "I don't think it was that my coach (Pruitt) was leaving, but it was just so much turmoil going on there, so much uncertainty. And I didn't know who the new defensive coach was coming in."

I can't crush him too hard for leaving in general. These kids have a tiny window to showcase their skills and he had the potential to make a lot of money playing the game. And UT was a $hit$how at that time. All these posters bashing kids, let's go look at your posts when Heupel was hired, VFLs.

But the thing w/the flipped writs bands and the "just business" video, to me, that was an unnecessary F You not only to the University but to his former teammates and love the turd-sandwich he had to eat after the game.

I mean he's not wrong.. he recruited him coming out of HS as well

he was saying " I told you when we were recruiting you that place was a mess and to come here" ... like he ended up doing. Pretty easy to understand

Saban is old guys.. he's gonna retire soon
