All of you are forgetting this staff is inheriting the dumbed down none coached up confused taught to quit and give up players from the Coach Doofus Dooley. They have no idea how to close a game out when leading. Remember Mizzou last year...and that was with Bray, Hunter, CP, and Rivera in the passing game that are all on NFL rosters now. Just remember this below about almighty Lord Saban as you hate on this staff...

Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks vs. Alabama Crimson Tide - Box Score - November 17, 2007 - ESPN

And in the same exact season the following happened....

Tennessee Volunteers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide - Box Score - October 20, 2007 - ESPN

These kids have a lot to learn about mental toughness and keeping on the steam....and not having good QB play isn't helping...but they don't know how to close the deal when they have the upper hand. It is that simple IMHO.

I thought the players had bought into Butch's coaching...you know "Butch Gets It".

Wouldn't that include believing in themselves?

This team looks no more disciplined than the 2012 team. I know the cupboard is bare, but that's when the coaches have to coach to their strengths and minimize their weaknesses. They haven't done this as a team.

If Butch does indeed "Get It" then it needs to show up on the field on Saturdays.

Ask yourself this, do you feel better about this team at 4:40 this afternoon than you did at 12:20 this afternoon?

How many times do we have to hear about Saban's first year loss? We get it already.

Difference is that Saban is a winner. He proved that at Michigan State and LSU.

I am so sick of hearing about Saban's loss to ULM as though that has any correlation whatsoever to what Butch Jones is doing.

Enough, already. I'm tired of the excuses. Dooley's fault. Kiffin's fault. Fulmer's fault. Worley's fault. AJ's fault. I just want to see the team get better.

Not to mention Saban had already won an NC at LSU.

Not even close to comparable. Plus I got tired of hearing this when Dooley kept losing.

I'm not giving up on Jones by any means, but just shut up about the Saban comparisons.

The Saban loss would be relevant to UT if UT curb stomped UGA, USC, or Bama....AND went undefeated next season and ranked #1 going into the SEC CG.

Saban never lost a game by more than a TD his first year. Plus he recruited the best class of the decade.

If you mention Butch and Saban in the same comparative sentence you should be checked into a mental institution.

I think CBJ would likely kill for John Parker Wilson.

Or, at a minimum, a QB that can consistently hit screens.
