Saban Hires Dooley as Offensive Analyst

Dooley and Pruitt. Collectively, two of the worst coaches in UT history. Joe Judge, formerly the Head Coach of the NY Giants, hired Dooley, Pruitt, and Freddie Kitchens to his staff at the Giants. Clearly, Judge was not the sharpest tool in the tool shed. Cannot believe anyone in their right mind would hire all 3 of these men and actually think they were gonna win.

Dooley and Jones worked for Saban as analysts, which means that's the best they could do for a while. Pruitt can't even get an analyst job. That's 11 years of Vol football summed up in two sentences.

And WTF...Kiffin was the OC. He's the only one that has been (somewhat) successful as HC elsewhere, but of course he left of his own volition.

How effed up is it that all of our coaches since Fulmer have some sort of tie to bama?

Thank God Heupel does not. Maybe that's a sign.

Considering how he can't keep a job for more than 4 years and is on the coaching death spiral (every job is worse than the one before), why do we even care about this?
It does show how kids can ride on their parent's coattails to levels beyond their competency.

How about we let go of the sour grapes.. it's becoming wine at this point. Our program has a bright future we can focus on instead of worrying about what the past guys are or arent doing.

SILENCE, you ingrate. You're promoting common sense and logic! Such blasphemy isn't allowed on VN among those fans who demand to live in misery. How dare you!! After all they prefer to be, to be, to be

That's one way to sabatoge the tide football program!

Let him decorate the locker room doors for starters.

He can also do motivational speeches before KY game.

Oh and make him the lead recruiter for OL!
maybe he just wants a free cigar in October

Great, a placement of Butch Jones, getting coffee, washing Satans car, and unpacking donuts.😂

I think it's a good hire. Dooley has a vast amount of experience and is considered a good offensive coach. The chances of you rehabilitating your coaching career and getting a ring are high. Maybe we should figure out how to get coaches like this on our staff in these positions instead of laughing like it is a loser of a deal. These costs Saban little to nothing, and the coach is part of a winning program and don't really need the money. Nor are there expectations for a greater role at the school. Get a few years in, in between stops and leave. Dooley is a good man and these players can learn character lessons from him.

The real question is if Saban does it to actually get their expertise or does he do it mainly to troll UT fans?

I don't think Saban cares enough about to Vol fans to troll us. AAMOF, I get the feeling he respects UT as a progam.

Does Saban rehire Pruitt?

I hear many Bama fans wanting Saban to hire him but I’m skeptical - why advertise that you have known cheaters on your staff? I’m pretty sure the SEC commissioner would have to sign off on hiring him. Saban can get better coordinators than Pruitt IMO.

Great.....another opportunity to see a former coach on the Tide sideline as they destroy the Vols. Dooley will have quite a challenge finding more camera time than Lyle got.

At this point, it should be touted as an incentive when UT hires head coaches that "upon termination of this contract by the University, signee will be entitled to a membership in the Saban Coaching Rehabilitation Program."
🤣🤣🤣
